EXPERIENCE

 

Urban Contest Laboratory (GAUD / Jan 2022 - July 2022)

Graduate Assistant

G.A. for graduate class UCLAB at Pratt GAUD in collaboration with religious nonprofit Bricks & Mortals to develop design and business proposals for various religious organizations in need of financial and architectural consultation. Each proposal was developed through extensive historical research, site visits, and interviews in order to form succinct thematic design decisions varying from introduction of event layouts, building plans and sections, and renovation suggestions. All five of the proposals were published into reports and presented to each client.

 

NEA Studio (Brooklyn, NY / June 2021 - Aug 2021)

Architectural Design Internship

Designed and developed furniture, lighting products and installations that included pendants, lamps, and chandeliers. These products required working with local metal manufacturers, 3D printing products, developing design drawings, and utilizing sustainable materials like algae and solar panels. Examined floor plans and used solar analysis grasshopper scripts to determine placement of solar exhibitions in residential sites.

 

Association of Craft Producers (Kathmandu, Nepal / May 2018 - Aug 2018)

Industrial Design

Designed a two-part soft goods and home styling collection for ACP, a manufacturing company in Kathmandu focused on employing low income women. After working closely with craftsmen and workers, all products were exhibited and launched for release to faculty and executives of ACP.

“SUPERMODERN” (Notre Dame, IN / Apr 2018)

Bachelor of Arts Thesis

Composed a collection of clothing, jewelry, and accessories utilizing digital modeling, 3D printing, product photography and hand interventions in order to achieve a constant yet varying narrative dystopia and utilitarianism. The collection was presented in a constructed grid kiosk. Jewelry items were sold limited time after graduation.

 

Wolf & Shepherd (Los Angeles, CA / May 2017 - Aug 2017)

Industrial Design Internship

Charged with creating dynamic product imagery through photography to match the performance dress shoe branding. Photography work was featured on Huckleberry, and included 360 degree interactivity and activewear macro images.
